Il tormentone dell'estate 2020 ha un nuovo duetto di produttori che stanno cavalcando le classifiche internazionali con la cover della hit “Jerusalema” canzone originale scritta e cantata da Kgaogelo Moagi e Nomcebo Zikode
Il brano è stato scritto nella lingua Venda parlata, da un milione di persone in Sud Africa.
Il testo di Jerusalema è un'invocazione, una preghiera, che recita: "Gerusalemme è la mia casa, guidami, portami con te non lasciarmi qui. Il mio posto non è qui, il mio Regno non è qui, guidami, portami con te"
I due produttori vicentini Danny Milano e Gigi Cerin hanno deciso di unirsi all’ondata di gioia che trasmette questo brano, e hanno trovato in Maria Aka la partner ideale per affermare lo spirito di aggregazione e di armonia tra culture diverse, un'unica voce, quella dell’integrazione. Maria è una giovane nigeriana che ha saputo cogliere al volo l'occasione di riscatto e l'opportunità di realizzarsi. Dopo aver subito le fatiche e i disagi di un lungo viaggio, la giovane ha trovato nell’interpretazione di Jerusalema il modo giusto per affermare la propria libertà.
A dare forza alla canzone c’è un ballo diffuso in web con il nome di “dance challenge”. Sono ormai milioni i fan che nei social improvvisano vere e proprie coreografie e organizzano flash mob nelle città e sulle spiagge italiane.
Nella cover e nel video clip (visibile su Youtube) Danny Milano & Gigi Cerin rendono omaggio alla loro città natale con una coreografia ambientata in piazza dei Signori e realizzata da “Donato & Annalisa, acconciatori Vicenza “.
Il progetto discografico “Jerusalema” ft. Maria Aka non si ferma qui: i due produttori stanno già lavorando a un brano inedito che uscirà nelle prossime settimane. La nuova versione si intitola Africa ed è “una preghiera nella preghiera”, ispirata dal desiderio di contribuire a diffondere il messaggio di pace attraverso la musica.

With “Back to 90s " there is no danger of wistfulness and even less of being faced with a cloying revival, but you just perceive the great feeling that unites these two historical artists of Italian dance music to the public that over the years has never failed to gratify them with thousands of tuning in on the most important online platforms.
It was not easy to select "only" 30 unreleased songs, considering the immense production of more than 130 single hits, but then we had just to close our eyes and immerse ourselves in the vaguely techno if not strictly funky atmospheres to understand that our final choice was really the right one.
